Dear list I have several books in text format which I need to read. They have been scanned from hard copy and typically will be 300 500 pages in length. Typically these are broken up into chapters which take up about 30 pages each.
I started to read one of these today in Text Edit on the Mac. However the biggest level of reading I can find is read paragraph which as you might imagine is an extremely laborious way of working through these books. I am looking for the voiceover equivalent of the say All command which will allow me to listen to the book until I need to make notes in it or edit it to correct scanning errors. Sorry for these basic questions as this is one of the most basic commands in a screen reader but I cannot find it so far using keyboard help and documentation.
