Hi Mike and All, I can agree that it would be nice if VO let you know the state of your checkboxes without prompting, but it doesn't. What you can do is interact with the voice in the table and you'll find it actually consists of two items, a checkbox and the voice name. THe checkbox state is announced in that case, and of course when you vo-space on the item in question. A strange UI choice at the least, but I'm glad you have German working now.
