Dear Eric, I must have missed the message to which you refer, but in my experience VmWare Tools does not need sighted help to install. I did it myself by following the procedure in the VmWare help files, and it installed successfully without any trouble. This, combined with the ability to automatically do unattended installations without need for the Windows automated installation kit or anything else, is a major selling point for Fusion in my opinion.
