Further more, the apple tv doesn't even have a usb port! It has an ethernet port, an optical audio out port, and an HDMI port, oh and of course a power port! Your computer doesn't even come into the equation. I agree that having to use an hdmi port is kind of annoying, but only from the perspective that you may need sighted assistance to select the correct input channel!
