Absolutely spot on Esther. He (the developer) even said that the addition of the keyboard shortcut and the various sounds was his idea in order to overcome the voiceover/status menu limitations. This, incidentally, is a biiig failing on Apple's part. I would have hoped that the inaccessibility of those extra status icons would have been fixed. There is a work around for developers, but Apple don't like you to use it. As an aside, I'd love to know how Radium have managed it. anyone on good terms with any of the devs over there?
