The ids are now done by voiceOver which probably makes sense considering that other currencies and languages are now supported. They claim to support emitting only tones as an option so as to protect privacy, but I can not locate a setting either in the app or under the IIOS settings tab. The identifications do not appear to occur nearly as quickly and it seems that if one attempts to identify two notes of identical value, only the first one is recognized -- it's almost as though the logic suppresses the output assuming that its the same bill? As I say, these observations are very preliminary, hence may not be accurate, or could be unique to my lower resolution camera. I just thought it would be worth sharing as much as I could with perspective buyers.
