Hi James,
Nothing cold waterish about your points.
I think I am hoping to cross over eventually.
My problem is I only lost my vision 4 years ago, and struggled to conquer
Jaws and PC.
I think it is a worry blanket, you know the fear of starting again.
It is odd to say this, but shopping for apple products just made me feel
better about myself, I am not sure whether to call it "normal" or just
"especial."
Also at work everything is going Apple.
Just a bit confused.
Thanks again to you and Michael this list is wonderful.
Niamh

Hi Niamh

First off, welcome to the list.

Please don't think that I'm trying to throw cold wanter on your desire to
jump to the Mac. The only word of caution I would give you is that you'll
need to think differently about Voice Over. It is a very different
solution than other offerings. Also, I'm curious to know how you'll make
the jump if you continue to use Windows on your Mac? Do you eventually
intend to move to Mac for everything?

TC :)

Is it safe to run windows on an Imac?
Have heard horror stories from people who did it in the past.
Also which programmes will I need?
