Hi Colin!

I won't be using Windows once I get some knowledge of the Mac. I have an
administrative account on my PC so know how to use that and will get some
instruction on how to set the Mac up that way.I will wait to hear about the
firewall from others.
Thanks again for your help.
Barbara

Hi barbara!
Yes the anti virus on the Mac Can cause debate!
But a good thing to do some people have said, is to get a anti virus for
your windows side! This is not to protect your Mac but people you might
converse with that platform! Also one person suggested for the Mac side, is
to set up a main admin account for installing software! And then set up a
daily user account with read only priverlages and just use that one! The
idea is if you do come across something undesirable on your daily account,
it will not have access to the admin one! And other people use the firewall!
But someone with more knowledge of that will have to tell you more! As for
me I've not yet got anything on here and I do not use windows! hth Colin PS.
let the debate begin! :] hahahahaha
