Hi,
I hope this isn't too off topic for the list, but I've found an unconventional,
but quite creative use for the program audio hijack pro. I like to go to sleep
at night with some sort of audio playback on my mac, but all of the sleep
timers out there seem to be for iTunes playback only. On my mac, I usually use
vlc for music playback, and no sleep timers support vlc. So what I did was I
set up a schedule in audio hijack pro to start hijacking vlc at a certain time,
so the audio will mute at that time. I leave the option to record unchecked. I
know it's not the best option for a sleep timer, but it works.
