I still use Navigant and the newest version it has some issue from accessibility point but still very workable. Not as friendly as it used to be but very workable. The biggest thing is I think is to just set up your preface before you start your navigation and then you really don't need to access them till you get to your destination and then all you need to do is close the app all the way out even out of the app switcher. I hear they are aware of the vo sluggishness but all in all it is quite usable. If you double tap the speed limit thing you get the options and stuff while you are navigating. but I would try waze if it is on that list of apps. >> >> >> Take care. >> On Dec 4, 2011, at 11:58 AM, Desi Noller wrote: >> >>> Hi Sarah, >>> >>> Are you updated to the latest version of Navigon? It needs to use a GPS App and I'm not sure which one will be the most accessible with VoiceOver. I had originally thought I would use Navigon, but I have heard that the latest version isn't very accessible, and I don't want to spend the money for it if it isn't going to work! Any help with this would be most appreciated! The Bad-Elf web site has a list of Apps that work with the Bad-Elf accessory, but I'm just not sure which one would work best because the accessibility of the Apps isn't discussed since Bad-Elf is a product that anyone can use. >>>>> >>>>> Desi >>>>> <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> >>>>> >>>>> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] >>>>> >>>>> You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: >>>>> <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> >>>>> or at the public Mail Archive: >>>>> <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>. >>>>> Subscribe to the list's RSS feed from: >>>>> <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.xml> >>>>> >>>>> The Mac-Access mailing list is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free! >>>>> >>>>> Please remember to update your membership options periodically by visiting the list website at: >>>>> <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/mac-access/options/> >>>> >>>> <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> >>>> >>>> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] >>>> >>>> You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: >>>> <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> >>>> or at the public Mail Archive: >>>> <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>. >>>> Subscribe to the list's RSS feed from: >>>> <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.xml> >>>> >>>> The Mac-Access mailing list is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free! >>>> >>>> Please remember to update your membership options periodically by visiting the list website at: >>>> <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/mac-access/options/> >>> >>> <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> >>> >>> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] >>> >>> You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: >>> <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> >>> or at the public Mail Archive: >>> <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>. >>> Subscribe to the list's RSS feed from: >>> <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.xml> >>> >>> The Mac-Access mailing list is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free! >>> >>> Please remember to update your membership options periodically by visiting the list website at: >>> <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/mac-access/options/> >> >> <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> >> >> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] >> >> You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: >> <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> >> or at the public Mail Archive: >> <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>. >> Subscribe to the list's RSS feed from: >> <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.xml> >> >> The Mac-Access mailing list is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free! >> >> Please remember to update your membership options periodically by visiting the list website at: >> <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/mac-access/options/> > > <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> > > To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] > > You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: > <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> > or at the public Mail Archive: > <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>. > Subscribe to the list's RSS feed from: > <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.xml> > > The Mac-Access mailing list is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free! > > Please remember to update your membership options periodically by visiting the list website at: > <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/mac-access/options/> <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
