Hi John,
Thank you. You put me on the right path. I also trashed the com.apple.sidebarlists.plist file. Then, rather than reboot, I force quit Finder and relaunched.

Fixed.

Thank you again. I appreciate the reply and the help.

Karen

Karen:

Go to home folder and under library go to preferences.

Once there, look for com.apple.finder.plist and delete this file.

Once you do this, do a reboot right way. Once you reboot this file will be recreated.

Hope this works, I had a finder a few months ago and by deleting this file refreshes finder.

John

For any of you with any knowledge of Finder, I would appreciate help with a problem.

In trying to learn how to successfully export a .mov file from Iphoto, I have made a change to Finder and did not realize it. Now, every time I try to arrow through the selections in the Sidebar, it automatically flips over to the Browser. I cannot now arrow through my Sidebar.

As I said, any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
