Geoff, thanks once again for recommending the MJ app for the iPhone.  It did 
indeed let me use an already-existing number, so I am as happy as a clam!

I agree with you that it is probably best to relabel the buttons for brevity's 
sake, but it's not a show stopper, in terms of usage, if you don't.

This is a very accessible app and works very nicely with VoiceOver.
