Hi jane, I'm afraid i don't have the guide, so can't help you on that front. however, there are a plethora of guides and tutorials on the net. You might also want to try O'Reily Media for such a guide. The AppleScript Language Guide on Apple's website is I think as clear as mud on some points and not exactly accessible with VoiceOver.
I've tried this in the past. If you get anything, please come back and let us know how you're getting on and where you got it from.
