I can confirm that the Command+Option+L combo does not open the safari downloads window on my MBA running Lion 10.7.3 if I have the toolbar hiddne. VO announces "Show downloads" but does not open the window. Same results if I have the toolbar hidden but the bookmarks bar showing. Same results if VO is turned off. Same results if I try to activate the downloads window through the View menu option. Same results with the latest build of webkit. Same results if I've had 3 extra shots of espresso before trying this.
BTW Esther -- Glad to hear you're now running Lion! I'll drop my plan to request that the next Applevis campaign be to "Get Esther upgraded to Lion." ;) Cheers, Bryan On Feb 15, 2012, at 3:19 PM, Esther wrote: > I'm doing this on a clean install of Lion from about a week ago, and the > Command-Option-L shortcut for viewing the Downloads window in Safari only > works for me if I have the Safari toolbar showing.
