YOu can do it in iTunes or you can do it in ios 5. In ios 5 go to settings and then about and tap your phone's name and type anew one. then synch with iTunes. in itunes go to devices then your iPhone's name in the sources table then vo shift m after interacting with the sources table and then go to rename, type in the new name and synch.
