Hi Matthew,

No, VMWare Fusion is not in the App Store. Apart from the one-time negotiating
of the Captcha to set up your account, buying software from the mupromo.com
site is pretty easy -- easier than doing the purchase at VMWare's web site. In
this case, you get 11 apps (total value of $378) for the same price as your
VMWare Fusion purchase alone ($49.99). And you get a record of the license
serial numbers kept in your account in most instances, as well as the fact that
the purchasing process is easier.

The MacUpdate web site is the closest thing we have to a standard information
repository for Mac apps. It's far more extensive than the Mac App Store, and
presents information in a standard format that makes it easy to find out about
software. You also can tell when the last version of an app was released, and
read reviews or look for suggested alternatives.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther
