I would be curious to hear from anybody who has heard both the 3rd and current gen IPod touch speakers. I own the 3rd gen and while I agree that it is certainly usable except for music, where it really wouldn't be expected to do well, I still find it sufficiently lacking that I don't listen to it for long periods of time. Yes, it is perfectly understandable, but it is so lacking in mid-range and bass that the listening experience just isn't that great. I guess it would be like using a black and white tv set for sighted people. So I would like to know if the 4th gen one is notably improved. Mary Otten [email protected]
