Hi Sarah,

I know exactly what you're talking about. I didn't worry about it so much because I had burned a DVD <smile>.

Someone here suggested that I try the VO commands to list applications or windows to see if it's possible to get to the authentication dialog, but I never tried that.

In case you haven't already tried, there's a possible option?

Best regards.
Geoff

Problem. you will need to sign in to the app store and all you will hear is system has new window and that's it. You cannot, or at least I cannot continue any further then that. Can anyone get past that part? I have not reported this to apple yet as no one knows what I'm talking about.

when you do a dvd or thumb drive you don't have to do that.

Take care all.

Hi!

I'm wanting to reinstall OSX Lion onto my system but can't seem to get the boot process of booting from the extra partition on the hard drive created when I first installed OSX Lion from the App Store last year, from memory you booted your Mac whilst holding down the option and R keys on the keyboard, is this correct?
