Hello Christo

Thank you for your response. We are currently in communication with a member of
the Duxbury Systems development team on a fairly frequent, although not regular
basis. I have noted your interest and will advise when I get more information.
You will, I'm sure, appreciate that there are occasions when it isn't possible
to disclose as much as we would like too. I hope you'll be mindful of that fact
if we don't answer questions as fully or readily as we would like too. But be
assured that we will do our best to keep the group informed when and where
possible.

Thank you once again for your interest. I know that DBT won't be the cheapest
option and I fully understand that people have financial constraints within
which they must work; indeed, we are no exception in that regard. However,
sometimes it's necessary to push the boundaries a little bit; and I think this
is one of those occasions, certainly in our case. Obviously we'd love to be
able to start working on Braille production using our Mac right now. However,
although I have been told of a number of options, when I wrote to the developer
of one particular solution some time ago, he simply didn't respond to my
several emails; so I presumed that it was a non-starter.

As I've already said, I'll keep the group posted when and where possible.

Lynne

• I certainly would be interested in further development for Braille production.

• Many thanks for the potentially good news.
