The speaker is a lot better and louder without external speakers, also some
of the screens display a lot better while in the landscape mode. For
example, in mail, and settings, the titles are displayed in column form
along the left edge of the screen, and the context of which ever one you
select shows up on the right half of the screen. While you are in a list,
you can just run your finger down the list and each item is read. You do
not have to flick as on the iPhone and iPod. hth.

Subject: Why do blind people like the iPad?
Evening folks,
I'm just curious, why do blind people like the iPad? I can understand folks
with some vision buying one as the screen may be useful, but for those of us
with no vision, what is the appeal?
I don't mean to be rude or anything, just curious.
Thanks
TC :)
