I like the iPad because typing on it is much easier than on my iPod. I've had 
tolearn to type with two index fingers on the iPod, but when I use the iPad in 
Landscape mode, I can touch-type the way I was taught to.

Also, the larger screen does make a diffference as far as presentation of 
information goes.  It's larger, so you cna literally get a feel for how stuff 
is arranged on a web site by moving your finger around.  Besides, you don't 
have to scroll as much as you do with the iPod.

I am glad I have the iPod though, it sure is a lot more portable--I can slip it 
in a pocket or my fanny pack and just go, and when I want to take the iPad, I 
have to take a large bag I can hang over my neck to protect it.

Just some reasons, but I would not give either device up!
