Yes,

        I would highly recommend turning off the gestures for iPad users.  The 
gestures are for use with the smaller devices.  To turn them off go to settings 
and then to "no Motion mode"  And enable that. 

        Everything done with motion gestures can be  done in other ways. 

Also, M4A is available on List Recorder and a good alternative in many cases to 
mp3. 



        I'm wondering if a lot of folks are using List Recorder on the iPad?  
if so I suspect the developer would consider doing something with that extra 
space but then again perhaps that would mean developing a whole other app!
