I appreciate that.  But it doesn't make it the "Simplest" solution because you 
have to have 2 applications, whereas with DocuScan, it either sees your scanner 
or it doesn't.

DocuScan Plus has one major drawback for me – it only works in English!

Yes, I understand that. But if you're looking for something that works in 
multiple languages, you're not really looking at a simple solution.  I'd be the 
first to agree that DocuScan is primitive in many ways.  I also don't like the 
fact that you are forced to use cloud technology whether you want too or not.
