Therefore, I really don't think these issues are show-stopping issues, although yes I do agree that the option would be nice. The audio on the iPhone 4S is pretty good given the size of the device. And although I haven't yet heard music from the iPad 3, I have no reason to believe that the audio there won't be good also. Spoken audio I have heard and that is fine.
