Hi Esther Thank you for your reply. Do you happen to know whether there is software available to insert these watermarks? The problem is that some of the files are audio, but the client doesn't want any "Seconds" once her audio files are distributed. I'm frustrated by how much I can say because she's kind of emulating Apple in a way, she is insisting upon absolute secrecy. I can kind of understand her rationale here because her data is company-specific and she doesn't want her business plan known to her competitors. She's placed me in a position of trust and I'm doing my best to come back with something that meets her specifications. But as you say it isn't something that's easily done on either platform which I have available.
Again, thank you for your response. To be honest what you're saying is kind of what I thought the situation would be. The DVDs produced with copy protection are generated on production line systems geared to turn out 500 or more DVDs at a time, with special licensing. On individual DVDs the only additions that are made are to insert watermarks or alert messages that will appear in copies, so that users playing the DVD will know that this is not the original material. It doesn't prevent people from accessing the disc. <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
