Hi Melissa The debate about viruses is ongoing. But the fact that Apple themselves saw fit to plug the Flashback Malware utility a while back shows that we shouldn't rest on our laurels. We personally use MacScan and PrivaScan from SecureMac.
There are freeware utilities out there I believe but I'm not confident they are regularly updated with new definition files. As for your time question, that one is easy. Go into the VoiceOver utility under Commanders. You can find the script there and it's default setting is right option+T. Regarding being helpful, that's why this list exists. Don't hesitate to ask questions. No question is too dumb, no person is too insignificant. Every member of this group is respected and will be treated accordingly. We all have to start somewhere, and the beginning of wisdom is "I do not know".
