Hi, Last week, I installed Mountain Lion and reinstalled DropBox by going to the http://www.dropbox.com site and downloading the latest version of dropbox for the Mac. This is version 1.4.12. When this dmg is extracted, you now have a DropBox.app that you simply copy in to the applications folder and open with command+o. When I did this, I was prompted for my Username and password and all installed perfectly.
