Hi there! I'm not a Mac expert by any means, but for me, using Lion was a
miserable experience, and I absolutely adore
Mountain Lion. Obviously, you need to do what's best for your situation, but
I'd recommend upgrading to ML right away. So far
as I know, none of my apps have stopped working, and ML is so much more
responsive and pleasant to use than lion ever was.
You may wish to wait for advice from more experienced Mac users, but my advice
is to get ML installed as soon as possible.
Good luck, and I hope this helps.
Missy

Subject: upgrading to ML

I'm learning to use Mac OSX Lion with VO on my week old iMac. I have a free
upgrade to ML coming to me, but I'm a little
concerned about upgrading. I seem to hear some reports of glicheyness with ML,
but more than that I'm concerned that certain
programs don't work the same with ML, if at all. Is it common in the Mac world
for OS upgrades to break functionality or
accessibility? I'd hate to buy Apps, only to have them not work from one OS
version to another.

I'm thinking I should just go ahead and upgrade as I'll have to keep up with OS
versions eventually, and I may as well learn
Mac and VO on the latest OS.
Would I be letting myself in for trouble if I stick with Lion for a while?
Any thoughts on this?

Thanks
