Hello Bryan, No I hadn't thought of the "custom" option, excellent idea.
Looking around the net there seems to be quite a few with this issue. Apparently, resetting java prefs to factory defaults solves it, though I've no idea why. I'll check in the morning on the iMac. I'll also try your idea, cheers.
