Hi Brian, I'm running on a mid-2010 MacBook Pro, with, I believe, Intel Core 2 duo processors. My Internet connection is a university network, so I'm not entirely sure about speed, but it's pretty blazing fast by any standard, even on wifi. I don't know what these facts might have to do with the problems you guys are experiencing, but they seem rather odd from where I'm sitting. Yours, Zack.
