If you have a trackpad enabled, with track pad commander enabled, you can swipe with 2 fingers from the right edge of the trackpad towards the left edge. Also, in menu extras, VO m m if you VO right arrow you'll come to the notification centre menu. Press VO space to open the menu and VO down to go through the options. Hope this helps.
