Hello list,
I am trying to drag a bookmarklet from the InstaPaper website using safari in
to my bookmarks toolbar. I have used the steps outlined below: Note, the new
way of dragging with voiceover doesn't work at all, hence my use of the old
school method.
1. I moved the VoiceOver cursor to the item I wished to drag. In this case, the
"Read Later" link. Which is supposed to be a bookmarklet.
2. verified that both the VO cursor and mouse cursor are on the correct item.
3. Locked mouse down on to the correct item. Control option shift command
space.
4. Navigated to my toolbar in safari, interacted with it, and unlocked the
mouse on the "Bookmarks button".
This should have added the bookmarklet. I also tried the same steps but
unlocking the mouse on to "Add Bookmark" instead of "Bookmarks".
I also tried control option shift space on "Read Later" but simply got a
message telling me to drag the bookmarklet. Copying the "Read Later" link and
trying to open it gave me a Java script notification notifying me that the
bookmarklet is installed. Have I exhausted every possibility?
