Yeah I think it's p but you have to do it while the file is playing. Here is a 
mini demo I did for a friend of mine who needed to edit something fast.

I show how to edit and delete  a section of a file. It's simple and I'm very 
surprised the edit worked. lol! I was heading out the door when I did the 
recording so I could not use my normal method for things but it helped this guy 
so hope it will help you all.
