I was refering to the osx version. I think I'll probably be sticking with
the other platform though - there doesn't seem to be anything on the Mac
approaching the accessibility and ease of use that has been developed for
J$$S and E$$$l.
I've come to the conclusion, right or wrong, that the Mac is more a platform
for creativity apps, and Windows a better platform for the business/office
productivity suite.

Actually, I'm not sure if he was referring to Numbers for iOS or for OS X.
I only have experience with the OS X version, as Anne described below.
Which were you asking about?
Yours,
Zack.

Hello Phil,
The problem with Numbers used to be its sluggishness rather than its
inaccessibility. It now seems to be much more responsive, even with large
tables containing over 300 lines.
I must admit, I use the trackpad without the trackpad commander to scroll
quickly down a table as there appears to be no way of doing this with
VoiceOver. I use two fingers to swipe up the trackpad, then click the
trackpad, and VO tells me where I am.
The Find command works in the same way it always did. You can find
specific content but not jump to a specific cell.
What other problems were there?
Cheers,
Anne

I read over on the HTB2.com website that numbers is now completely
accessible with a new update. I don't have numbers, using its competitor
instead. If anyone who uses numbers can confirm a new update and full
accessibility would you please comment onlist? I may just give it a go
if it's now a viable option to excel.
