Hi, Make sure that your deleted messages aren't stored on the server. Go into mail preferences on your mac and check under the google accounts section under mail behaviours pane/tab. there are several check boxes there that are of interest. You want to make sure to uncheck store deleted mail on server and I have mine to delete trash on exiting my mail program. I might not be wording this totally correctly, but once you get into the mail behaviours section for your google account, you'll find what i'm talking about.
