Hello Chris
My apologies; we are both way way behind on mail at the moment owing to lots and lots of work for both. Anyway, as I understand it, OpenOffice is still not accessible, or at least not fully so. The way paragraphs are concerned, for instance, they are read and handled very strangely with VoiceOver I am told. We actually tried it I think it was either last year or late 2011 and ended up reinstalling our Mac. It did some strange stuff that we couldn't fix. I am sorry to be so negative and I'm very much hoping that there are later messages in this thread which tell me that I am wrong and things have improved. I understand that for some people it's just not their cup of tea, but leaving opinions out, going only on fact, is OpenOffice worth my time in at least getting and experimenting with? I hear that a lot of the dialogs in it are quite nonstandard, and though they're somewhat doable, I hear they're kind of weird until you figure them out and know what you're doing. I just wanted to see if anyone else has tried it, and what kind of luck if any you had with it, even if only minimum satisfaction. Chris Gilland.
