Hi, Just to let anyone know, in case this might be helpful, To turn the screen brightness back up to a level that would enable a user with sight to read it, the key is the function 2 key. Function 1 turns the brightness of the screen down and function 2 increases the screen brightness. And, if you require it, to turn the keyboard illumination up it's function 6. Function 5 turns the keyboard illumination down while function 6 increases keyboard illumination. Also, turning the screen brightness down to zero (dark) does not adversely impact the screen reader.
