Well, perhaps I didn't test sufficiently. I did see the map descriptions you 
mentioned, satelite etc, if the pup up is dismissed. But I didn't see anything 
that hinted at giving any text info. Maybe I missed it, gave up too soon on the 
app or something. The "menu" button which I thought held promise just seemed to 
open to a list of other offerings from Nat Geo, or at least related programs. I 
didn't investigate since it was definitely not a menu of additional choices 
applicable to the atlas app.
