Fair enough. I've been on a few apple lists since last night, and apparently you don't have much of a choice but to use objective c. Anyway, I've found a tutorial thing with some examples, so I can post the ink if anyone wants. Mind you, this is not a programming list so I guess that would be going far off topic. blah

I have managed to get this to work, but like AI said, it's not fun, it's extremely error prone, and it's not something even I recomend, and that's saying a lot. If I could find sufficient documentation, I'd certainly build an app creator, because Xcode is *not* my friend, and having the ability to create app files on the fly would serve many purposes.
