Oh Dear Someone has asked me for suggestions for a OCR programme to convert multiple jpg images of upto 100 scanned pages at a time on his Mac. As this is a breeze for my Finereader on my windows laptop I suggested he considered finereader for the Mac.
In the context of what I am learning from this thread should I be ringing him urgently to withdraw this advice? I am surprised if finereader cannot do this as this is pretty basic functionality. Hello Michael, ABBYY FineReader for Mac is an express version and does not have the feature you're looking for. I've never used Windows so was not aware of how FineReader works on that platform.
