Hi Sarah, This topic of cleaning up Safari bookmarks is not something I've tried looking into, but a quick web search brought up references to PrairieFire:
http://www.balooba.se/baloobasoftware/texts/safari_prairiefire.htm I don't know about its accessibility, but this is shareware, so you can try it out. It's $6.00 if you want to purchase it.
