Fyi it will be possible to make and receive hd voice calls thanks to
Facetime Audio introduced in iOs 7 and yes this is public knowledge as
it was announced at Wwdc and information should be available on the
Apple site.

Samsung Galaxy "S" range.
Gary Pearse and I conducted a short HD Voice Call which I make available here
for those who are interested in what HD Voice sounds like.
Note that I used the actual Speakerphone of the iPhone 5 so - if you use
something like the Senheiser MM500 or MM550 headsets or any compatible
Bluetooth 4.0 Speakerphone unit such as the Braven 650 then quality may sound
better again.
