Hi all -

I've been thinking a bit more about this subject and think I may not be
understanding something.

Flash does seem to work on the Mac, it's just that VO can not see what I'm
assuming is some kind of embeded button.

I had somebody look at the stream I was trying to get to play, and after I
clicked the 'listen' link, the stream didn't begin playing, because an arrow
appeared onscreen, that VO couldn't see, but which had to be clicked. This was
done for me, and the stream played ok.

I'm believing this to be flash content, because when I look at the same stream
on my old windows machine, JAWS reads "flash start" and "Flash end" icons.

It'll be great if with Anne's help I can get click2flash to see the aboved
mentioned embeded arrow.

Does anybody know then for sure if Flash does work on the Mac, and the issue is
just that it is inaccessible to VO? Or if it is the case that Flash doesn't run
on Macs, then how is it sighted people can get this streaming audio to play?

If anybody is interested enough to take a look at the website I am trying to
access, then follow this, between 3-5 pm UK time today:

www.mcfc.co.uk

Search for and click on the matchday centre link.

Next search for and click on play in new window.

then find and click listen to the radio Manchester commentary link.

It is after clicking this last link, that the arrow appears that needs to be
clicked, for the stream to begin, that VO is unable to see.

This commentary can only be access via the mcfc website and not from the radio
Manchester website because of broadcasting restrictions in the UK.

Thanks for any clarification -

Andy
