All. If I understand peoples concerns here and using my understanding on how the service works. Below is a summary:
1. You scan your document. 2. The image is sent to the cloud server. 3. It converts (OCR) and gives you the option of saving it to the cloud or your pc. Things that have not been outlined are: 1. What happens to the images that are sent to the cloud after they have been scanned? Can you access the image again to perform another scan? 2. Is the connection between you and the server encrypted? 3. is there any ability of placing a password on the document in the cloud? 4. What does the term and conditions say in relation to who owns the data? I raise this because some services like face book and Skype have specific conditions on ownership of data that is stored on their services or go through their network. Before I outline my thoughts on the topic, can anyone answer the above?
