It is a while since I used Blackboard and when I did it was on a Windows system but when I did the accessibility was extremely flaky with an, in particular, inaccessible file viewer console. I had limited success in downloading documents and then opening them in their native apps but this was not always possible depending upon how the material was posted. In the end I succeeded in getting, as a reasonable adjustment, material posted onto Blackboard to be emailed to me separately as an email attachment.
