Hi Eileen,

I think what I read is that some people purchased from the Mac App store, and
then contacted the developer to use the present version, and were given a
serial number to use in the version that they downloaded from the developer's
web site, which is version 4, because the update still wasn't available at the
Mac App Store. Since I have MacGourmet from a direct purchase from some time
ago (not through the Mac App Store), I have a separate upgrade path through
their web site.

That's what I read from one of the reviewer's comments. Also, if you do want
to get the Mac App Store version, the deluxe version has the meal-planning,
nutrition, and grocery list modules. What I meant was that for purchases from
the developer's site, the price to upgrade to the deluxe version is $24.99.
Hence, the options are to either buy it for $34.99 in the Deluxe Version, from
the Mac App Store and then get a serial number for the Deluxe version from the
Developer's web site to use in the meantime, or to buy the non-deluxe version
with recipes only, try this out, contact the developers for a serial number for
the new version, and then upgrade for $24.99 from their web site (with a new
serial number) if you like the recipes portion.

Sorry this is so confusing! It would be more straightforward if they simply
announced that the new version would simple be in the app store soon, and that
users would get this free, but I don't know what the policy here is, unless
Dane remembers?

Cheers,

Esther

As the Mac Access Dot Net administrators, we do our very best to ensure that
the Mac-Access E-Mal list remains malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and
worm-free. However, this should in no way replace your own security strategy.
We assume neither liability nor responsibility should something unpredictable
happen.
