Hello Eileen, Some of your questions are hard for me to answer as the terminology is different between Windows and the Mac, and I’ve never used Windows, but I’ll do my best.

The apps are sold separately these days. > Is the most recent upgrade to the iWorks suite make it conducive to put away > MS Office for good? A.R. Word count, character count, line count and all kinds of other counts have been accessible in Pages since iWork09. Paragraph styles such as Heading, Subheading, Title, Body, etc. have also been accessible since iWork09. I don’t understand your question about the intersection of cursors on a page. As I was discussing with Dónal earlier, you can find out where the insertion point is located within the current text area, but the information is incorrect. This is something that needs to be fixed quickly as the bug is still present in the latest update. You can, however, learn the dimensions and position of objects such as images and tables. This kind of information is in the Formatter under Arrange. > In Numbers, can one have VO announce the column or row when a particular cell > is entered? A.R. Yes. There’s a VO command for this should you not want it to be spoken automatically. > Are you able to create templates in Pages and in Numbers? A.R. Yes. All associated styles are saved with the template.
