Hello all I’ve just discovered what was causing the issue with my space bar not functioning. I’m puzzled. I switched on the “Switch Control” under the Accessibility section of System Preferences, in the hope that Text Expander would then function. By doing so, I lost the use of my space bar. Turning that function off again reinstated the functionality of my space bar. But I am puzzled as to why the space bar should stop working when this function is enabled. Anybody got any suggestions?
