you need to select the zoom feature in the table, stop interacting with the
table, and then vo arrow right to the various options. You'll find that lots
of situations on the Mac act like that, where you select a feature and then
move past the selection to its options. I'm guessing you're new to the mac
and the concept of interacting with objects? Its a bit different from the
PC/JAWS world.
You need to get into the habit of exploring thoroughly the interface of any
new window/app/dialog.

Turn on magnification with Command+option+8. Once mag is on, Increase and
decrease magnification with command+option+ equals sign (=), and minus
sign (-) respectively.
First, make sure magnification (zoom) is enabled in accessibility options
in system preferences. There are setting there for how the screen reacts
to mouse and cursor movement etc.
