Hello Diane, Thank you for posting this. I’ve noticed it when using the US English HQ voice on my iPhone 5S and iPad Mini since upgrading both to IOS 7.1. I slowed the speech rate down to 5 percent and still hear it pronounced as "conv a lot.”
Note that pronunciation of the word seems fine when using the Australian English & British English HQ voices, at least to my non-native ears. Seems like an issue worth reporting to [email protected].
